An earthquake struck the Andaman and Nicobar Islands around 3:25 a.m. Monday. According to the Seismology Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 4.3 on the Richter scale.

The tremors were felt near Diglipur, 276 km north-northwest of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The earthquake’s epicenter was located at 15.66 latitude and 92.30 longitude at a depth of 39 km.
No casualties have been reported so far due to the earthquake.
Also on March 13, a magnitude 4.1 earthquake hit the islands on Sunday. The epicenter of the earthquake was 25 km NNE of Diglipur.
